Martyn Bray – Bio

Director/ Cinematographer

A filmmaker passionate about the environment and human relationships, Martyn graduated from the London Film School with an MA with distinction, having won two Fuji Film awards. After graduation he continued to work in the camera department on feature films.

Next came factual projects with the BBC and Channel 4. As an award winning cinematographer, he shot commercial projects with some of London’s most prestigious film companies including Ridley Scott Associates.

In 2006, Martyn began to explore alternatives to the world of commercial filmmaking, he travelled widely gathering stories and shooting documentaries that he had developed. He studied creative writing and coaching, mentoring creative professionals and lecturing at Four Corners and the Central Film School. On returning to the film industry he integrated his skill set to form Wisearth Films.

 

Junko Furugori – Bio

Associate Producer

Junko’s global outlook and sense of environmental stewardship began at an early age and led her to complete a 4-yr BSc (Hons) Environmental Sciences degree at the University of East Anglia.

With an Environmental Sciences degree as a springboard, she has been involved in media campaigns advocating for fair trade, organic food, vegetarianism and a simpler, more holistic lifestyle.
